Todd earned his law degree at the University of Colorado in 1999 and his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1990.

Todd worked for six years between college and law school as a caseworker with public interest and non-profit organizations in New York City . This work included advocating for medical, housing, disability and support benefits, contested landlord - tenant matters, small claims court matters, and job training and coaching. He is very experienced and skilled in working with persons in stressful and heavily contested situations.

Since joining the Jorgensen, Motycka & Lewis law firm in 2000 his practice has focused on all areas of family law. He represents clients in all aspects of divorce and post-divorce modification cases; paternity, custody, and child support matters; adoptions, guardianships, and grandparent visitation cases.

Todd is licensed to practice law before all Colorado State Courts and the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. He is a member of the Boulder County and Weld County Bar Associations, the Colorado Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Family Law sections of the Boulder County, Colorado, and American Bar Associations.
